Difficult Situation...

Do you guys have MOES?

…What’s MOES? Lol. Sounds like a department store:D

Please tell me you guys have Ted’s down there?

Moes is like Southwestern food. They have epic quesadillas, tacos, burritoes, and rice. Favorite place ever. Everyone goes for “moes monday” where they have some special deal.

And the only Ted I know is the one that owns Turner Broadcasting Station.

You’re making me crave mexican food:(

I cannot believe you don’t have Ted’s! They have the BEST hotdogs and cheeseburgers I’ve ever tasted. Their milk shakes are SO amazing, too. Their fries are freshly cut, and taste so good when you dip it in the chocolate milkshake:)

Someone’s going to need to be my tour guide down at UCF. I need to eat at all these places, it’s now on my bucket list:)

To OP-
Since it appears that you live in the NE, have had family members attend Penn State, have already been accepted to Penn State, scared about moving so far from home, starting your life new, in a panic about attending UCF, will pay out of state fees, etc. - I guess you answered you own question. Good Luck @ Penn State !

Obviously she wants to go to UCF-distance is the only factor. All out of state students feel this, it’s common. It doesn’t mean we’ll stay home.

Lol I love this thread. I’m in the exact same situation! Ucf is the most awesome school in the world to me and I wouldn’t wanna spend four years of my life anywhere else, it’s just the distance factor making me nervous. I’m like mainly worried about making all new friends since I’m not the most social person in the world. However, Im not gunna let that stop me from going to ucf lol. In a school with like 50,000 students it’s impossible to not make friends haha.

Sorry for crashing this thread but I’m so curious. Y’all heard of Red Brick Pizza or Marco’s Pizza? xD

We have red brick here!:)

Admittting to have not tried chick fil a is basically saying you haven’t lived yet. and then multiply that by two for not having moes. If you guys dont have chipotle…you must eat dogs haha

We have chipoltle, lol. Mainly, here in chicago, it’s a lot of family owned food places. It’s great, but I feel deprived:(

Seni0r- I’m shocked you read so many bad reviews! This website may be helpful because there are good and bad reviews. Most of the bad reviews were solely given because the student had a direct problem with the school so they were angry and decided to go HAM on the negative rankings>> http://www..com/FL/UCF_comments.html
I haven’t been about Penn State because I hate the people in my area. They take their cliques from high school to PSU and are narrow-minded towards making new friends. And I cannot stand they people in my high school and over 200 kids each year from my high school go there. But some people fit in with those people and end up loving it. The reason I’m leaving is because I’ve been moving my whole life so starting over new will not be a shock to me. I’ve been independent my whole life and I will do just fine on my own. I want to experience other areas of the country since I don’t enjoy the one I’m in now. We were brought to PA because of my Dad’s job, not so much by choice. Plus, if I’m going to spend an extra four years of my life somewhere, I better choose the place where I’m going to enjoy my time. I hate the winter so any place here is out of the question. I literally have a shift in mind and just want to stay inside because I hate it that much. Florida is perfect for me. The summer weather is to my liking and I love love love storms. When I visited UCF, I felt the most at home compared to other colleges. That feeling instantly pushed UCF as my number 1 school. I feel comfortable and I love everything about it. You need to ask those questions to yourself for both PSU and UCF because sometimes isn’t always the academic things that make us choose a school. Not saying that academics is a factor, but it’s all about the overall experience that the school will give you.

For food;
We have chipotle but I’ve never tried it. Caitlin you have to try chi fil a, it’s amazing. They have this cow mascot that always promotes eating chicken because he doesn’t want to be eaten, lol. Wawa is a convenience store down here that is open 24/7 and has literally EVERYTHING. And they have custom sandwiches, soups, cheesesteaks, and snacks like that made to order at any time. It is so good and I just found out they’re opening 3 in Orlando! It’s a NE thing and Florida is the first location they’re really expanding to. Seni0r, you probably know what I’m talking about unless you have Sheetz there. Although they’re not even comparable, Wawa is the best!

wow it honestly didn’t let me post that… lol

the bleeped out words are **************

omg lol… students

review

put them together lol

You guys are making me so hungry-no fair. But I’ve been at work since 9:30, and am in here until close, so I’ll just make pizza.

I love me some sausage pizza:)

buffalo chicken pizza is soso good

Review sites are hit or miss…with 60,000 people some will hate it an some will love it. It’s the same way at every huge university.

This is true but you can kinda see a trend as to what people do and do not like
