Difficult to change majors? + AP question

Anyone know how difficult it is to change majors? I want to change my major starting beginning of freshman year.

I really do not want to take 4 semesters of Spanish. On the language website for CAS it says that I need to score an SATII of 590-680 in order to take Spanish 209 and be done with my language requirement. I have already been accepted ED. Would I be able to take the SATII this year (senior year) in high school to see if I can score within that range? I will also be taking the AP Spanish Language exam in May. I think if I can take the SATII Spanish I might have extra chances to skip to Spanish 209.

Someone please help, especially with my spanish question. Thanks.

you don't have a major until your 4th semester. Don't worry. You only need to be accepted to majors in CAS by doing well in their intro classes. You could triple major without anybody in the other two majors knowing.

You can take the SATII, but you can just take a placement test when you get here to cornell instead...If you end up in 123 you only have 2 take 2 semesters, and 209 you only have to take 1.

Yay! I think I'll study for the SATII since it does not require me to write or speak spanish (I'm a little insecure about my writing and speaking abilities in Spanish). I have another quetion: Does it matter if I take the SATII Spanish with listening or can I just take SATII Spanish for the placement requirement into Spanish 209 at Cornell? Thanks for your prompt response sparticus. You've helped me on many of my questions.

I just checked the collegeboard website and it says Spanish with listening is only offered in November. So I hope Cornell takes regular SATII Spanish.
