Difficulty of World History

I did best of the DBQ.. yeah weird... but then again, I spent so much time on it that by the 2nd and 3rd essays, I was cursing myself for lack of time management. I literally wrote the 3rd essay in 15-20 minutes.... It was horrible >.< But... oh well '^^

Overall, I hated essay B the most... Maybe that's because I knew the littlest in that time period... I wish they would've extended the dates just a little bit.. but oh well =/

And um... I labelled the last page of my essays... "D" >.< DOH! Do you think they'd count that against me? lol

Anyway.. hoping for a 4... It's impossible for me to get a 5 now T.T

=P

Why is it impossible?

The MC was easier than PR, but there were so many charts and pictures, that some of them were very hard and ambiguous.

The DBQ was HORRIBLE.

The Change over time was relatively easy because you got to choose what to write about.

The Comparative was relatively easy because my class had just done the topic in school.

MC 1st half was easy. 2nd half was harder
DBQ- I had no outside sources b/c it was so obscure but I managed
COT- Guessed, but I realized I got it right
Compar- I think I wrote too much (5 1/4 Pages) but It was decent

Oh.. because I did really horrible on the essays. If anything, essay C killed my score (I know.. it was an easy topic.. but I had little time). But, considering our class wrote like 5 essays the entire year (with time outside of class to plan it too), I guess my speed wasn't SO pitiful =P

And I did skip one question on the MC.. because of time again. It was a chart or something, and I didn't have time to analyze, so I just skipped it and went on..

I guess I just need to work on my speed next time ^^

I DIDN'T EVEN TAKE THE CLASS BC MY SCHOOL DIDNT OFFER IT
ISN'T THAT CRAZY. my teacher just picked the best out of Honors to do it.

MC- medium
dbq- awkward
cot- uhhh...ok
comparative- not too good

didnt really have organization for essays and DBQ topic was really awkward

oh yea, didnt take the class either

I think that if you establish a thesis, and make a good conclusion you already get like 3/9, then if you use all but 1 or 2 docs you get like another 2 points, so even if ur essay sux if its in the right format then u already did half decent

Umm... do you really need a conclusion? I think on COT, I didn't have a conclusion. I'm sure they'd want one, but you can't get points taken off for that, can you?

Put some random additional documents. +1 point w00t

crap guys
after consulting my textbook i think i completely ****ed up #2
I still have some continuities/changes
what score could I expect for this one?

depends.. what did you do (or not do)?

well i said something was this, when it really wasn't, and the opposite was true

Compared to the Princeton Review, it was inordinately easy.

Yeah... except the essays bite >.< Thank goodness the one topic I knew absolutely nothing about was a DBQ XD

hehe...i killed it

yeah MC wasn't too bad. ha, wow, some of those pictures were..wow. i had an urge to laugh when i saw one of them. essays...dbq was a kind of obscure topic, and it was pretty long, ended up going like 15 minutes over, but compared to the other two, it pretty much rocked my socks. ha, CCOT, i laughed inwardly, it was the most bizarre time period they could have picked. BS'd just about everything, though some of it ended up being true o.O. C/C..eh. harder than dbq, easier than CCOT, which seems to be the case with most people. But in any case...

It's over. Forever. can you say, yay-UH! There's nothing we can do about it now, so lets just chill and take it easy =)...until the middle of july =P

i'm scared my handwriting wasn't legible enough. :(

^ I think they have enough experience with bad handwriting to read yours.

Actually, I would say that the DBQ did give somewhat of a freebie now that I think about it, since it said to analyze the documents based on the silver bullion trade based on social and economic impact.

Gee for grouping, I don't know...perhaps I should make one group based on social and another on economic????

Oh and for nitpickers, yes, it's fine to group two as long as it shows it in the question explicitly. I got 4 pages out of it and analyzed POV in every document. I went about 10 minutes over the limit.
