Which colleges would you reccomend that have a good math department AND a good digital media/arts program?? I'd like to double major. (I know, they don't any shared required classes, but where's the fun in that?)

Carnegie Mellon U. Not many schools can boast good science/math program in conjunction to a top-notch Arts department.

However, Stanford is great too; I am currently majoring in CS (which entails math classes) and either majoring or minoring in art. The digital art classes are great, though you have to have some kind of experience to get into some of the art classes.

definitely carnegie mellon. maybe look at USC, i think there animation/digital is well regarded and they have really good networking with the game industry in so cal. their math, i dont know to much about but it has to be decent.

Look into U Penn’s Digital Media Arts program

Oops, meant to type Digital Media Design at U Penn.

Absolutely CMU. It’s a happenin’ place for that interdisciplinary stuff…

Cooper Union?

Why did you bump this old thread?
