Dimensions?

Does anyone know the dimensions of the furniture (dressers and desks) in the modern dorms? Also, how high can the beds be raised? Thanks!

hey, i was wondering this too

Sorry, dimensions vary from each building to each room. Beds also vary. Some beds cant even be raised.

Wait, so even if I know my room number and building (haha, I don't), I still wouldn't be able to predict the dimensions of my furniture? I should probably wait to buy storage stuff until I'm in St. Louis, then...

so here's my stupid question: what are the walls like? can you hang shelves and stuff or not?

Yes Melanie, even within the same building, furniture can vary depending on when the person broke the original. Usually its the same, but I dont want to tell you information and then you go buy everything to that dimension and discover its not like that at all.

Soproudofkids - Depending on where you live. Traditional walls like in LEE BEAU RUBY etc are pretty nasty, haha I remember using an alcohol wipe to clean a section of the wall to stick the 3m hangers on and it came off yellow, black and brown. But the walls are white, in general plastic feeling. They get moist so hanging things sometimes fall. But tape works. Modern dorms have nicer walls, easier to hang things on. And no you cant hang shelves in either traditional or modern unless you can do it without punching holes in the wall or leaving glue on the wall etc. Basically it has to be removed and seem like it was never there on the day you move out. However you didnt here it from me, but white putty goes a long way in terms of repairs. Cough. lol good luck.
