What would some benefits be if one was directly admitted into an undergraduate business school as an incoming freshman?

You don't have to worry about having good grades to get in later, just staying in good standing.

I don't know if I see any other real benefits. The degree will be the same regardless.

that to me is the only reason why direct admission would be a good thing. I am however appealing to get direct admission into Kelley @ Indiana. The only thing is that I have a 28 act and a 3.46 gpa. They want either a 29 act or a 3.5 gpa. I go to an all IB school and am an IB diploma candidate so my classes have been a lot more challenging than a typical student's schedule. I thought if I explained my grades and gave them a good reason as to why I should be direct they'd consider me.

What other places are you looking at?

well there is the security that you can major in what u want to major

Just try to write a petition letter because you missed both citeria by just a point. There is nothing to lose. Best of luck!
