direct deposit forms

the silver "instructions for candidates offered admission" booklet says to send the forms to the financial institution and "make sure you receive copies of the form...bring copies with you on Rday".

on the actual form, the directions tell the financial institution to send the direct deposit form to West Point.

okay? so they want me (i will be a new cadet for class of 2010) to send the direct deposit form to the bank, have them fill it out and send a copy to west point, keep one copy, and send back three to me, two of which I keep and one that I take to west point on R-day?

a.k.a.- i'm asking for some help

I could be wrong, but here's how I understood it:

There are three copies of the form: Payee(s) Copy, Financial Institution Copy, and Government Agency Copy. We keep the top copy, the bank keeps the middle copy (if they want it - some banks don't), and we bring the bottom copy with us to West Point. Our instruction book says that it will be collected after R-Day.

I also interpretted it the same way...just being reassuring
