Direct Hits..$200+? 0.0

I bought amsco 2010 for ap us, but is DH really that expensive? I heard it's great review, but that's a bit much.

Also, I usually prefer buying the newest books and happened to spend $20 and bought barron's 10th edition instead of the 11th...is that going to make a huge difference?

the barron’s book is for calculus ab btw…

too bad it’s been like 5 months since i bought it, can’t return. The sad thing is the 11th edition is a lot cheaper online…

I bought DH before they stopped printing it. But, I heard Larry Krieger (the author, sp?) is coming out with a new APUSH review book but I haven’t seen anything about it so I don’t know if he will have it published & printed in time for this year’s exam.

Darn, idk what to do…I was expecting a nice $20 prep book…

Very little changes between editions. You will be okay.

can anyone link me to a cheap copy of DH for apus? I’m not sure how amazon works with buying from sellers and stuff.

I’m not positive, and you’d have to check for yourself on this one, but another poster mentioned searching Amazon Canada for cheaper copies of DH.

If you can’t get Direct Hits, REA Crash Course is also very similar (written by the same author), and will help you tremendously. I had both Crash Course and DH, and ended up only using one to study since they were so alike.

If anyone really wants a copy, there’s a cheap one on Amazon Canada
