I am a senior in high school, planning to go to a school with a direct medical program. So, far I am applying to Brown (PLME), St. Louis (MSL), Case Western (PPSP), and UIC (GPPA). Are their other direct medical programs?
Also, I need to apply to about 2 school as my back up. I have an ACT of 31, weighted GPA of 4.75 out of 4, National Merit Commended (still waiting for the semi-final result), National Honors Society, and have attained leadership positions in a few areas: Band, Science Bowl, Scholastic Bowl, and Math Team.
Are there any schools that I would have a guaranteed shot at?

You need to add some lesser known / somewhat less competitive programs. Do not get me wrong, all of bs/md programs are very competitive, but selectivity is at different level. Apply to all in your state, for sure.
Not sure about St. Lois program at all as it has very high stats to matriculate to Med. School, they are higher than “regular route” college GPA/MCAT score, I would not bother applying there, but if you wish, then, why not.

I agree with MiamiDAP. Not sure what you mean by guaranteed shot? Even if you had a 36 ACT score and everything else was perfect doesn’t guarantee you anything. If you read threads on admissions you will see that the interview is almost like a lottery and very unpredicatable. Even if you think it went well, even when they shower you with positive comments during interview can mean a rejection.
Look through the other posts to identify the schools and apply wide and only to the ones you would go to if you got accepted. Good luck

Drexel, UMDNJ, UConn, Albany, are examples of easier programs, but a 31 ACT might be too low for even them, and no admission is ever guaranteed.
