I'm well aware that these BS/MD programs straight out of high school are extremely competitive and a very limited number of high school seniors are admitted each year.

I am curious to see which of these (36?) programs are "easiest" or least competitive to get admittance to. My stats are pretty good, but not amazing like many on this forum.

I'm an incoming senior in high school.
I have a 3.89 GPA (unweighted)
2060 SAT. (1400 M/CR)
5 on AP Psychology
I've taken mostly honors/AP classes.

So with these type of numbers, which programs would I be competitive for?

What types of extracurriculars are you doing? Are you ranked in the top ten percent?

Ya I’m definitely top 10%, not sure of my exact rank though. I’m not really doing that many extracurriculars though.I volunteered at a hospital and shadowed a doctor. I’m in NHS and in key club (but didn’t do much in key club). i was in a few other clubs as well. I really don’t have that much other stuff.

SATs need to be higher. For some programs, a 1400 M+CR is the bare minimum to be considered. Any medical ECs?

I volunteered at a hospital and shadowed a doctor. That’s about it.
How much higher should I aim for on sat. I’ve taken it twice already, and do October scores even count for seniors cuz we apply before scores come out probably.

Check out University of Toledo. There are 2 combined programs. Bio/md and Biomed Eng./md. Can apply only to one though.

Aim 2250+ on the whole SAT or 1500 (CR+Math only) to be a competitive candidate.

Lower tier med programs are either state ones or Drexel ba/md. Their SAT cut-off is 1360 and unweighted gpa requirement is 3.8. Aim for a higher SAT score (M+CR above 1400)

What state are you a resident of? It matters a whole lot with these types of programs.

Programs to think about: NEOUCOM, University of Toledo, Union/AMC, UMKC.

Does Pennsylvania have any programs for in-state students only?

Many of the programs my son considered expected SATs in the 1400s, although everyone we met had 1500+. Most had 750-800 in SATIIs, esp Chem and Math. Some (UR, PLME) even stated that matriculants were in the top 1%. I think UR even stated they wanted a 3.95 unweighted GPA. These programs were VERY competitive with 1000-2000 applicants. I think UR had 10 slots.

^ Yes. D. graduated #1 from top private school in our area with all other pre-regs and got into 50% of programs she applied. She applied only to one more competitive, the rest were at state schools.
