<p>I was recently informed that USC will be having an off campus reception near my town this coming weekend. USC is my dream school and I would do anything to get into USC. How beneficial would the off campus reception be? Would it at all help getting into USC? What kind of information do they give you? I would like to go but it would be quite the commute and I'm learning of it last minute. I do not want to waste time/money learning about stuff that I have already read over the internet. However, if it would be very beneficial then I would do whatever it takes to get there. Thanks for the help!</p>
<p>If I were you, I would go. There is a good chance that you would make a contact with a USC rep that may be able to help you with some advice on your application later on. Also, USC, I think, has a regional rep for your area and that person might be at the reception. Definitely go, if you can manage it.
