Discussion of the differences between ACT and SAT

Is one test particularly more difficult than the other? Is there really a difference (besides the added science portion on the ACT and the fact that you get docked for wrong answers on the SAT)? I plan on taking both, but what should I expect in terms of difficulty and score correlation?

From What i remember, ACT’s are more Facts oriented, while SAT is more Problem Solving Oriented, it just depends on what you prefer if one would be easier or not. But if you’re looking for easy, i’ve heard Residual ACT’S tend to a good way for state schools.
