I’m cramming to finish my honors program at my CC (6 Classes/18 Units)…still one more class to take.

@benyvaio

Excellent work!

how does ur school even allow u to enroll in calc 3 without ever taking calc 1 or 2.

AP scores Der3k7. My freshman year I took physics 2 and calc II my first semester.

my fudging professors still havent entered my remaining grades. i hope they didnt die

im signing up for random GE classes at Foothill to raise my GPA and to finish off my 60 units, about 12 quarter units/8 Semester units, when January 9th comes, and I list them, with them not even corresponding to my major, will it be an issue or raise a flag?

nope doesnt matter. i did the same… took a bunch of art classes

okay cool! I’m in:

THEATRE ARTS APPRECIATION
INTRO TO FILM STUDIES
AMERICAN CINEMA

anyone at foothill ever take these courses?

i took the CLEP but was a couple points shy of passing, so i was allowed to sign up without credit.

@benyviao: interesting courses. What’s your major? I’m more used to seeing the math/science/english course lists around here now…

My first semester at CSUF after transferring is over. Hooray! Here are my fall grades:

would be surprised if Cal didn’t accept me now.

@altruition

I’m a poli sci major…the reason i took those courses was just to finish the honors program at my CC, though they do in some ways relate to my major.

@benyvaio. Ah, that would explain. Wish I was in honors too, seeing as some of my courses were pretty dull.

I’m guessing the UCs look heavily at your Fall 2011 grades as well as your freshman grades?

^ Obviously everyone wants a 4.0. But if your GPA isn’t exactly all A’s, then schools would like to see an upward grade trend. So your Fall 2011 grades do weigh heavily in terms of grade distribution particularly if you did well and showed improvement.

math25 A

I’m so mad! I almost had a 4.0 but no my Phil teacher thinks everyone in his class is a freaking philosophy major and grades way too hard! ■■■

off to a great start! woop woop :)

I don’t remember the application having a difference between a+, a, and a- . I’m sure the uc’s will still see it as an a.
I never got a grade with a + or - .

@hellolilly really? I remember imputing the - and + symbols on my app. and like every gpa calculator on the web is sensitive to them so I think there is a difference :/
