<p>I heard about the Disney College Program and Imagineering Professional Internship that you can apply for in college. I already read their website, but would like opinions from anyone who has participated or applied.</p>

<p>What was it like? What did you do? Are there any special perks?
How and when did you schedule it into college?
Did the program help you get a job afterwards, as a Cast Member or Imagineer?
Did someone you know participate or apply? What did they say about the program?
What about Disney ImagiNATIONS? Has anyone participated in that? What kind of projects were submitted?</p>

<p>I don’t know anything about the internship, but if you’re going to work for Disney, I’d recommend reading ‘Disney War’ by James B. Stewart. Very insightful, although it did take away some of the ‘magic’ of disney lol</p>

<p>that happened when my school’s band was performing there. we were allowed backstage at epcot. it was so sad.</p>

What was wrong with going backstage? I’ve never been, but I always wanted to.</p>

<p>no intricatly designed structure. all a mass of concrete back there… surrounded by woods.</p>

<p>unless you want to believe that Narnia is back there…</p>

<p>I worked at Disneyland for almost 3 years. From what I’ve seen and heard from those in the program, you work 5 days a week at Disneyland like every other employee and every now and then throughout the month you have a sort of lecture/seminar thing in the TDA building (blue/green weird shaped building you see off of the 5 freeway.)</p>
