Hi all,
I'm currently a community college student that has some bad grades from 5 years ago at SJSU, hoping to transfer to a UC.

5 years ago I attended SJSU and got 2 semesters (10 classes) of F's. I got disqualified and went to a West Valley Community College. My grades have since then improved, and this semester I got 6 A's.

Counting the SJSU grades, I currently have a 2.2 GPA. Without the F's, I would have a 3.2 or so.

I want to apply for transfer or a transfer agreement this fall, but with the 2.2 I don't qualify. SJSU has an academic renewal policy that may let me disregard my previous work; i'm waiting for my current grades to come out to bring that in to talk to SJSU advisors.

Has anyone had this experience that could give me any suggestions? Do I have a chance to be accepted to UCLA business? Or any other UC's?
