<p>Do college Division III Sports (golf) typically pay for airfare/driving expenses to tournaments? Are there any expenses that the student incurs outside of personal equipment. I'm interested specifically in golf but this would probably apply to any sport at D3 level that doesn't give sports scholarships.</p>

<p>I don’t believe any sport at the D3 level gives scholarships. Isn’t that part of what makes them D3?</p>
<p>Anyway, I imagine it might be based on your school’s budget for the activity. I know when I was in a club activity that would compete against other schools we’d get some, but not all, of our expenses refunded by the funding given to the club by the school.</p>
