<p>I was just looking at the % of different ethnicities that attended Columbia and I saw that the school was made up of about 9% Black students, and 11% Asian. I found these stats to be very surprising because they seem so close, and from my most recent visit i saw way more Asians then blacks at the school. So could someone who goes to Columbia could maybe give me their opinion on the number of black students that attend Columbia.</p>
<p>Where are you getting those numbers from? From the numbers I've seen, I think Blacks and Latinos are each less than 10%. Asians (I guess that includes Indians) are probably 20% or so. If your numbers are from a Columbia publication or an accurate guidebook, they're probably right. Nobody's "opinion" is going to matter.</p>
