I’m a prospective aggie and I will be starting freshmen college apps soon. I’m an auto admit (top 10% admit) so I was wondering if admissions essays matter at this point.
I believe the essays have always been used for merit scholarship consideration, which is a competitive process.
They matter for the holistic review process.
Essay C is used for university scholarships, and essay A is used for the terry scholarship, so it mainly matters if you want scholarships or if you apply to the college of engineering.
