Do admission offices stop replying to emails of rejected candidates

Hi,

Most of my decisions would be rolling in after 23rd, so why are the adcoms behaving awkwardly..

Some of them are just not replying to my emails.. And some are replying to them within seconds..

Does this behavior somehow indicate which colleges would accept me and which colleges would reject me?

Hopefully not, because Richmond U has been ignoring me for over a month…

^Hopefully not because the colleges which are ignoring me are my ultimate dream schools.

I wouldn’t read anything into it.

they might just be too busy to respond

or else, decisions have already been made, and there is no need to respond to you, whether you got in or not

they are probably busy doing whatever is necessary to communicate their decisions, or else, they are very busy trying to make their final decisions.

What if a friend is getting a reply but not me…

Seriously? You’re bugging admissions officers this late in the game? If I were they, I’d ignore them too.

"Does this behavior somehow indicate which colleges would accept me and which colleges would reject me? "

"What if a friend is getting a reply but not me… "

It seems you’re intent on looking for things to worry about, frankly. Let it go. You’ve done your best. Stop your worrying. What did floridadad write that’s hard to understand?

It’s unbecoming.
