I turned in a few assignments late in english and now my teacher really doesn't like me... I can tell, since she's very warm and open to other students but cold when she talks to me. It sucks now because that class is unpleasant and will remain unpleasant for the rest of the year unless she somehow begins to like me again. Meh. Does anyone else have teachers that don't like you?

Ugh, yes. Last semester (I’m on block schedule) I had some stupid elective (current issues) with this one teacher. He literally winged it every day and basically gave you an 85 on whatever you did, no matter what, except for an F he gave me on a project that was literally better than other people that got a B.

We wrote multiple essays that he never graded. And he seemed to love singling out my essays when I got finished first, since I actually worked, and passively-aggressively criticized my paper (even though it was clearly one of the top 1 or 2 in the class) and forced me to continually edit and add stuff to it. You would not believe how smarmy and lazy he was.
He rearranged the grade categories and weights halfway through the semester, literally dropping my grade 3 full points, through ABSOLUTELY no fault of my own.
And to top it off? He left me at an 89.4 at the end of the semester. I literally want him to be fired. I’m not kidding. He’s the epitome of the garbage that work as public school teachers.

meeee. my APUSH teacher despises me. I think it’s cause I called him a jerk in the parking lot, and didn’t notice he was getting out of the car next to mine haha. ooops.
but it’s weird cause I’m usually really quiet and inoffensive and I’m not used to anything stronger than being overlooked.
but I got revenge by having a perfect midterm score :)

my pe teacher hate me and always has chats with me after class about how I’m too “agressive” in sports

I think my AP Stats teacher doesn’t like me at all. And he is probably doing college recs for me (my chemistry teacher is retiring and doesn’t want to do recs).

Not really. But compared to previous years, my teachers think I’m a slacker.

College prep teachers tend to despise me because I ace all the tests even though I sleep through their classes. It tends to annoy them for whatever reason. All my AP and honors teachers like me though. That would probably be because I actually pay attention in those classes. My spanish teacher hates me in particular because I already know spanish pretty well and I have nothing to do in class but sit there till the bell rings. She has nothing to do with me but glare at me and tell me to work on other homework. She sometimes even makes me stand up in front of the class and translate some paragraph. Then she criticizes my lack of emotion when speaking. She calls me “the left brain girl that can’t seem to get that emotion is an important part of speaking spanish.” That’s when I tell her I am going to be a neurosurgeon and that whether I speak spanish emotionally or not is immaterial.

I don’t mean to come off as arrogant, but I do think that I am a pretty decent student. I don’t do anything that would irritate a teacher. For ex: talk a lot, ask dumb , etc. But I have definitely had suspicions that some teachers have disliked me, but there hasn’t ever really been anything that jumped out to me and said ‘THIS TEACHER HATES ME’. My AP Lang teacher last year messed up my name all throughout the school year. I have a strong feeling he knew it all along but liked to be an *. And he always took off random points off of my essays/assignments, that I couldn’t argue against because the reason for it was always really vague. My current AP psy teacher is just a really boring person in general and always shoots down people’s ideas that don’t correspond with his own beliefs/opinions, including me, so I can’t tell. But overall, I’m just glad I’m a SR and going to be leaving this year, HS teachers are such BS.
