Do AP Scores Go Towards the 60 Semester Units of UC-transferable Credit Requirement?

I think one of the classes I took may not be UC-transferable (don't see anything about it on Assist). If I'm correct, that would put me under 60 units. Could AP scores go towards this requirement, and if so, for how many credits?

Yes, AP can count, depending on a lot of variables. Course, major, UC. You need to look at the UCs you applied to and see what the rules are for where it might go. But in theory, it should be transferable in some manner, unless you repeated the course for a letter grade. You do have next term or winter session to add a course BTW, even if you didn’t put it down in your app. Just add it in the January update.

What’s the course that’s in jeopardy?

You can take the AP credit either at UC or at your present school (not both). But, yes, it will count as credits towards your minimum units, but will not count against maximum units limits at UC. Best of both worlds!

Check with UC and with your current school. UC will likely give you general elective credit, and cannot be used to fulfill a requirement. Your current school may allow you to substitute the AP credit for a specific class to fulfill a requirement.
