In a few threads it has been implied that colleges already have this year’s PSAT scores and, also, that some schools are sending marketing for summer programs, etc., based on those scores. Anyone know if this is actually the case?
@CGHTeach Colleges NEVER get the PSAT scores. What colleges do is buy email lists from the College Board of certain types of students (say top 5% of testers) and use those to spam people with emails about their programs. But colleges do not get personalized PSAT scores.
Ok, that makes sense. So, you are saying the schools can buy these lists before the students even know how they did on the test?
