I took the PSAT in November of 2015, and I just received my scores. I have gotten so many emails from colleges telling me I am “part of a select group of students”, and so on. I was wondering if these emails meant anything or if they were just spam the colleges were sending. Also I was wondering if my score was really good. I made a 1240 out of 1520. On the sheet I got it said I was in the 95 percentile for sophomores taking the PSAT, but I feel like that is not even that good of a score. What do yall think??
Colleges can buy lists of high scorers. Many market to these students to increase their profile, diversity, or number of applications. You may find new colleges that you’re interested in, but you won’t get any real offers from those schools until you apply.
I was 95% for sophomores last year and 99% for juniors this year, as long as you study you’ll definitely improve! and most of the emails are just random but if you see one from a school youre interested in definitely click the link in the email to show youre interested in receiving more stuff from them
