Do colleges care between an A and an A-?

Hi,

I am freshman in honors English this year. Due to my current grade in the class the highest I can get is an A- which will still be a 4.0 on my gpa. Do colleges really give a crap between an A or A-?

Thanks

Yes, (meaning, they don’t think an A is the same as an A minus), but even having a few Bs in your high school career wouldn’t be a big deal.

If by the end of your senior year your only real concern is having received an A- in a Freshman English class, I’d say you were in a pretty nice “predicament.”
