Do colleges care how many times you take an sat?

Hi guys,

I want to go to either the University of Florida, University of Central Florida, Florida State University or University of Miami.

I have taken the SAT three times. Once in March 2011, another in May 2011 and the third done today June 2011.

Of course I can't say what my June scores are since I haven't gotten them back but here are my other scores:

March scores

CR 460
Math 560
Writing 620

May scores

CR 490
Math 610
Writing 590

Superscore

well… I dont think so. As long as u r improving

It would have been better to have studied for a longer time instead of taking both the May and June SAT’s, since it costs money - and why would you want to sit in school for 4 hrs multiple times?

That’s true. But I took the June SAT because the plan, when I registered for the June test, was to take this SAT for the third time and then shift my focus to the ACT from August up to October. Unfortunately, I unexpectadely got a whole bunch of work, projects, and now finals (which I actually am studying right now, lol). But hey, that’s life for ya’; unexpected things come out of no where, and the only thing left to do is to try to work around it. I’m happy that at the very least, I tried to work around my busy schedule in order to do more SAT practice, despite the bitter taste I have right now (due to, of course, not being too confident about my June SAT scores).
