I've heard colleges do care and I've also heard they don't. I was scoring in the 1700's on my PSAT's and full-length practice test, and had a short-term goal for the SAT of at least 1800. Other than those 3 practice exams, I had no other preparation with books, tutors or outside help. Upon taking my March SAT, I went down A LOT to a 1500 (was extremely sick that day and end up in the hospital shortly after that). I'm going to be taking it in May, and unless I get a 1900+, I would like to take it again. I have been practicing a lot and have had private tutors and am scoring around 610-640 in Math, around a 600-640 in Writing (Without including Essay score) and my reading is around a 540. Although I initially wanted to take it in October, I am thinking of taking it in June since I am on a roll of constant studying and also have another opportunity to take it in October if need be. If thats the case and I have to take it a 4th time, will colleges see it? And even more importantly, will they care? I'm not applying to any Ivy leagues or top top schools that would want to see all scores. Also, would it be best for me to use Score Choice if I need it? Or does that mean colleges will see my 4 tries and lower scores on at least March.

On a side note, does anyone have any advice on how to get my reading score up? Also I struggle on writing (not because I can't write, but because to time constraints and never get to my conclusion), so any tips on how to increase my speed would be appreciated. Thanks!
