Do colleges care if you visit?

I’m in California at the moment, deciding between which colleges to visit.

My question for you all is: Does visiting a college impact your likeliness to be accepted?

A hypothetical situation: I visit UC Berkeley, talk to the admissions officer. When I apply in the fall, will the admissions officer take into account my visit when looking at my application? Or is there not a connection between the two?

Depends upon the college

No. UCB does not consider applicant’s level of interest when considering admissions.

Most colleges have a common data set available which lists the factors considered/not considered. Simply google XXX CDS (where XXX is the university). Here is Berkeley’s:
