Do Colleges, specifically UC's, know whether you have visited them?

Do Colleges, specifically UC's, know whether you have visited them? OR do they ask whehter you have visited them in your college app? Or do they not care. I always thought it made more sense to visit colleges that you get accepted to, and then decide which one is the best. But if you get a competitive edge if you have visited colleges, I want to visit colleges as soon as I can. I am a senior now so the only time I really can do college visits is labor weekend probably. Anyone know? Thanks.

Well, here is UCB’s common data set. http://opa.berkeley.edu/statistics/cds/2011-2012.pdf</a> It shows that Level of interest is not considered. Save yourself some time. Don’t worry about it.

No.

10 char.

Common data set, section C7, shows whether “level of applicant’s interest” is considered. Only if it is considered do you have to worry about having a visit recorded or other show of interest.
