Do colleges care?

Hey, guys. So I'm thinking about dropping AP Euro next semester because that was supposed to be my fun class, but it's stressing me out more than some of my core classes. And if I drop it, I can get an early release period. Do you think that colleges will care, considering that I'm taking 6 other AP classes: AP Bio, AP Calc BC, AP French 4, AP English Lit, AP Gov. (1 sem.), and AP Econ. (1 sem.). Should I include an explanation in my college app? Or is it really no big deal?

It is probably no big deal. Are you doing dual enrollment or working next semester? If so they will just assume that is why the change.

No. I’m not. Not much is changing except next semester, Calc gets way harder and I have to start studying for AP tests.

I don’t think it will hurt anything. You have 6 others. Better to know your limits than sink.

For me it is better to continue rather than to stop even thought you will get some advantages.
