Do colleges look at AP/IP scores for admission?

<p>I think it would hurt you a lot more than that. If you only got a 2 on the test but an A in the class, for all the admissions officer knows you were playing with glitter glue and drawing kittens instead of doing college level work. That can call into question the rest of your courses on the transcript (the most important piece of your app).</p>

<p>It’s hard for them to look at the scores since most kids only take a limited number
of AP’s during the junior year. My D did visit some colleges end of junior year and
brought her transcript which included a couple of 4’s on AP’s. The interviewers
noted that and indicated it was a positive.</p>

<p>iono, but what about self studies or like a trillion 5s. would that help an applicant (not just look favorably)?</p>
