Is there any correlation between when you take the SAT and admissions?

While no expert on the subject, I am going to have to guess that the answer is no. The profile pages of the schools my son applied to simply listed his highest score for each section (super-scored) w/o any reference to the fact that one section’s score was from Oct of one year and one from Dec of prior year.

Any other opinions?

I’ve never heard of any school caring about when you got your highest score. I suppose there might be some exception to that rule, but I can’t think of any reasonable scenario that lowers the value of any score. It’s possible they might be very impressed by a high score freshman or sophomore year, but that’s about it.
