What is the ASVAB?

ASVAD is the military recruting exam. It so the military can determine how fit you are for the military and your ares of expertise. How can you fail the ASVAD!!!!!! Im pretty sure no college really cares about how suited you are for the military.

unless you're applying to west point

nah, im not applying there. my bad it is *asvad

Actually you were right the first time. It is ASVAB. It stands for Armed Services Vocational Apptitude Battery. Fancy words for the military version of the SAT or ACT.

My class has taken the ASVAB for the past two years. It’s really more of a diagnostic test for the high school, and it provides students with regulated test-taking experience. Don’t worry about it too much. Aside from military schools, I’m not aware of any schools that require the ASVAB, and they certainly won’t see your score if you don’t send it.
