Do colleges see what classes you are taking in the second semester?

Do they only see the classes and grades for the first semester, or do we get to list anticipated classes? I’m taking some difficult CC classes during the second semester, so I want them to see that. One of my classes is also one semester long, econ, but I finished gov online so I’ll likely have a study hall period.

On your college applications, you will list in-progress and planned courses you are taking Senior year. Many schools will ask for a Mid-year transcript which would have your grades from 1st semester.

They will require a final transcript. They will be checking to be sure you have in fact completed courses necessary to matriculate and if your grades are acceptable. While unusual, it is not impossible to have your admission rescinded.

Ask your counselor what classes appear on the transcript they send in late fall, and what appears on the midyear report they send in Jan/Feb. Anything that doesn’t appear there would have to be conveyed on the application or otherwise noted.

Agree with above. You list your second semester senior year classes on your application. If you make any changes to your schedule you would need to notify any schools you applied to/have been accepted at.

And colleges get your final transcript – any acceptance you get will be conditional on your successful completion of your senior year.
