<p>Im just wondering, do colleges value Sat Math/CR scores more so than Sat Writing scores? Or do they just look at the overall score total. Like for example, would a student with a 700M 700 CR 600W (2000) be seen the same as another student with like a 600M 600CR 800W (2000) ? Just wondering.</p>
<p>It varies. I think many, but certainly not all, schools (and scholarship opportunities) do weight Math/CR more than Writing.</p>

<p>Yes, I’ve heard that, I think most colleges think that way. Someone told me that a lot of colleges use the writing section to help see if the essays you submitted are your own work. Like, brilliant essay, poor writing score, they might be a little bit suspicious. But that could be totally wrong.</p>
