Do CSUs have a unit cap?

Say I did a couple years at a prior CSU and I want to go to a new one for personal reasons.

If you are doing a CSU to CSU transfer, then I believe you have a 70 unit cap for the transferable courses.

70 unit cap not including my JC courses?

A 70 semester unit cap for CC’s. CSULB quotes a 94 unit cap for CC and 4 year university credits. SLO quotes a 105 unit cap for CC and 4 year university credits.

You have a specific CSU in mind, I would contact them to get the correct information directly from the source.

I was thinking of SFSU. Even if I exceed the unit cap… I can still potentially attend the school right?

I would just call and ask. Better to get the information directly from the school.
