I want paper recommendations from my teachers because I feel better seeing everything go into the envelope and sent physically. Do I still need to add the teachers as officials online?

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

I don't know what you're talking about. The common app never asked me anything about teacher recs. The only thing common app related I have done with recs is printing out the rec form from their website to give to the teachers.

comm app teacher rec is all on paper i believe

And often, the teachers send the recommendations directly. You give them the stamped, self-addressed envelopes. You never "see them" go into the envelope.

You can add the teachers, and it sends them an email and they fill out the form automatically and they upload a rec letter and stuff all online. At least that's what my GC said.

If thats not possible then why under "school forms" do teachers have a drop down menu from which you can select one?

You don't even need to print out the teacher/counselor rec. form from the commonapp website. The schools under commonapp will also take the recommendation letter from the school (w/ the school's letter head) instead of the commonapp rec. forms. So really, you can let the school care of that thing and all will go well.

alright, so i'll just have the teachers send the recs and they'll know its for me. thanks. :)
