Do I count as a URM?

<p>I'm part-Filipino and part-Spanish. I've always considered the Spanish part of me to be white, but on the common app, Spain was lumped together in the entire Hispanic/Latino group. Do Spaniards still get preferential treatment in admissions?</p>

<p>It’s lumped together but then separated by the next question where you indicate your specific nationality within the Hispanic/Latino group. I don’t think Spanish are considered URM.</p>
