GPA:

freshman year (all regular classes): 2.6
sophomore year, all honors/APs (AP World History exam - 4): 2.3
junior year - 2 APs (AP Stat exam score: 1, AP Lang - 3), three honors: 2.8
senior year (4 APs, no honors): 3.8 (year I've become serious... can you tell? This angers me due to how I've always had the potential to do well...)

overall GPA (excluding senior year) : 2.6

SAT: 1760

Essay writing skills have been qualified as "exceptional" by a nationally well-renowned tutor, so that's in the bag, to be honest...

ECs:

9th: One Acts (drama), tech (drama)
10th: Environmental Club, One Acts (drama), tech (drama), Orchestra
11th: Chamber Orchestra (highest level of orchestra in school)
12th: Co-president of Amnesty International chapter, orchestra, Invisible Children Club Head of Design (once again, year I got serious)

Demographics:
Half Russian, half Iranian

a better SAT would show you’re more serious

I think your best route would be attending a community college for 2 years, and than transferring. With your grades and SAT scores, you have a very slim chance of getting in.

I agree with revoltxo. Community would be a good idea to help get your grades up and everything. If you think you have the potential to do well, give yourself a little bit of extra time to let that happen. Boost your SAT and bring your GPA up and you should have a chance.
