Do I even have a chance at these schools? (Tufts and Yale)

Hi, thanks for taking the time to read this. What do you think my chances are?
SAT: 2180 (CR:760) (Math: 630) (Writing: 790)
GPA: 3.9630 (unweighted)
Class Rank: 18/256 (7%)
ACT: Didn’t take.

Activities:
JV/Varsity Soccer (all four years)
JV/Varsity Softball (all four years)
Science Olympiad (all four years)
Entrepreneurship Group Leader (Sophomore Year, it’s a one year program)
Competitive Horseback Riding, rated shows. (9-12)
Volunteer at a Therapeutic Horse Farm (9-11, the place shut down)
Babysitter for six different families, one child had severe ADHD. (9-12)
Tutored children is ESL (11,12)
Sales Associate at Kohl’s, worked weekdays and weekends (12)

Awards:
National Honor Society
National Business Honor Society

Essay:
Strong, I took a small moment and manifested it into something universal and meaningful.

Letters of Rec:
Teacher 1: Very strong, I had him for 11th grade Honors English and received the highest average out of all his students. I also have him for AP English Lit this year. People from colleges have written him back saying his Letters of Rec are extremely well written.
Teacher 2: Strong, I didn’t have a great relationship with her but I got an A in her AP U.S History class and a 4 on the exam.
Guidance Counselor: Strong, she discussed all my strengths and me seem like a very determined, compassionate individual.

I also just had an interview for Yale and it went very well.
But are my stats too low? Am I silly for having hope?

Both are reaches, Yale more so than Tufts.

Since your SAT scores are a bit lower than the averages, you are at a slightly disadvantaged position. That being said, your GPA and ec’s look strong. But so does everyone else who applies to these schools, so you’re in the running, it’s now all up to those recs and essays. I’d say that Yale is a reach, Tufts a low reach.

Yes you have a chance. There are plenty of people at yale with lower scores than you, even if they are not the majority. But it looks like you’ve already submitted your app. Go fly a kite, go hiking, skydiving, etc. it looks like you’ve done everything you can at this point.

You do have a chance. Tufts is more achievable than Yale

Reach for Yale, as it is for everybody.
High Match for Tufts, SATs are a little low, but bad.
