Comments
I do enjoy my high level classes very much and try to take as many as possible within the time constraints of a day.
Partial reason for GPA is because my freshmen year I had a sub 1.0 GPA. Also in Junior year I had excessive absences therefore causing some classes to count as 0.
I will not go to any colleges outside of the New England reigon and I have a strong prefrence for colleges and/or universities in the Greater Boston Area.

I know my record is a mess, lack of community service, extra curriculars and athletics. I understand that I will probably get rejected and/or waitlisted, if that is the case I will just live in Boston and try again the next year or semester. Any opinions are welcomed and encouraged and I will elaborate if needed.

it’s gonna be pretty tough. write a hell of an essay

You are unlikely to be accepted to any schools on your list–although Northeastern is your best possibility of the ones you mentioned.

I’d consider applying to the University of Rhode Island, to the University of Connecticut, and to the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Also consider applying to one of the City Colleges of New York–like maybe Hunter College or Queens College. I’m sure you’ll be accepted at least at the last three, and possibly to at least one of the first two above.

P.S. Lowell has a good mathematical sciences department, which would probably really fit you.

Best of luck to you.

I hate to say this, but I would strongly suggest considering something other than college at this point. Your grades are actually the 14th percentile (not the 80th – percentiles are the percentage of people scoring at or below your level). You are an entire standard deviation below the mean of your class. While I am sure you have natural talent in some great areas, I doubt they are in academics.
It appears you are a decent testtaker (your successes are all on standardized tests), but if I were the admissions counselor reading what you showed up there, I would have serious questions about your ability to succeed in college or in most careers following college, because your GPA appears to demonstrate a lack of consistent performance.

Best of luck!

What other options are you suggesting? I’m very open to options at this point. As for the testing, I am attempting to do as many of them as possible so that I at least have something to bring to the table so to speak. For gpa, all of it is unweighted and the transcript does actually read the grades I earned in each class regardless of whether credit was denied or not on account of absence or other.

My Junior Year’s Schedule Looked like this
Class S1 S2
AP Statistics B+ A
AP Biology D* C+
AP Chemistry D* D
Honors Pre-Calc A* A
Honors Physics A* A-
English 3 C+ C
US History A- B*

Junior Year GPA came out somewhere around 1.8/1.9ish

Denotes credit denial

I mean, they do see the actual grade whether or not credit was given so would that count for anything?

The reason I wish to go to college is not to secure a lucrative career but to continue learning different things which is why I do not have a stated choice of major. I have sort of a hitlist of majors and fields I wish to study sometime or another without regard to order.

On a side note, I do have three SAT2 scores coming in two days if that makes any difference.
