I want to go to UC, other than riverside, merced or santa cruz, but my grades are really suffering. But first I should give some background on myself. I am currently attending my local community college. In addition to that I am part of the honors program. I am also volunteering several hours of my week to a food bank. My high school gpa was a 4.17 and my SAT was 1740. I took six AP classes and passed five (4,4,4,3,3). I played a sport throughout high school but was not involved in my community. I got into UC Davis, Irvine, and Santa Barbara as a freshman. I also got into Cal Poly SLO. I didnt go to any of these college because I couldn't afford it. But this is where it gets tricky, its my first semester at community college and I am trying to complete it in one year not two. Right now I am taking 22 units and next semester I will take 19. I will have enough units to transfer but my overall grades are suffering. I thinking I will end the semester with something in-between a 3.4 and a 3.7. My classes are calculus, history 1h, jazz, Econ, accounting, and geology. I am really struggling in my calc class. I am applying for an econ major to all of the UCs listed. Do I even have a shot at getting in?

The GPA for TAG to UCI, UCSB, and UCD is 3.2 to 3.4. You are guaranteed admission as long as you complete an application in advance to any of those schools and meet the conditions of the TAG.

I would apply for tag but sense Im finishing in a year i cant.
