Do I even have a chance?

High School: Leading prep school in Atlanta, sends many to top schools
GPA (the killer): 3.46 UW (on a 5.0 scale), don’t know what it is W - upward trend
Class Rank: 60-80/100 (don’t know exact)
ACT: 32
APs: 5 - AP US History
AP English, AP Environmental Science, and AP Art History senior year.
I am a legacy at BC.</p>

<p>ECs:
Varsity Lacrosse (9,10,11,12)
JV Lacrosse (9,10,11 - JV Captain 11, Coaches Award for Leadership 11)
Spanish Club (9,10,11,12)
Ultimate Frisbee Club (9,10,11,12 - President 12)
Interact Club (9,10,11,12 - helps with Blood Drive and such)
Peer Leadership (12 - seniors only, helps freshman assimilate into the high school, very selective, only 16 students get it)
Young Life (9,10,11,12 - very active, senior leader)
Class of 2009 Senior Class VP
Went to Exploration Summer Program during the Summer after 9th
300+ service hours</p>

<p>Okay, I don't want to be a downer, but I'd say you have maybe a 30% chance. Your ACT is good, but the top 60-80% in your class is going to hurt you. Your GPA isn't going to help either. Good news is that you're from the south and you have a lot of ECs and leadership.</p>

<p>I don't think it's impossible, but it is very unlikely that you get in unless you are able to improve your GPA somehow. I think 100% of incoming students at BC were in the top 50% of their high school's graduating class. But I think your other credentials, including your legacy status, may help you. Good luck.</p>

<p>I know someone with similar GPA, 34ACT who got in. Wasn't a legacy.
