Again chances

Hey guys, I’m a high school senior who applied to BC and wants others opinions

SATs 1430/2070
SAT 2: Math Level 2 800 Literature 660
GPA: 2.84
Clubs: JSA, chess club, founder of a sports club (lacrosse)
School doesn’t rank.
Recs: Amazing
Essays: Good

thanks in advance

Your test scores are very impressive. However, your GPA may keep you out.

Well there are a few intangibles. I have a great rec from my uncle, a prominent alum. My essay also details my rise in GPA, which was 3.6 in the first semester. Think these will help?

I think your GPA may be too low for any school that doesn't have a prestigous reputation. Even then, it would somewhat a of a reach.

You should have mentioned your a legacy in your initial post. Gpa is very low, SAT's are above average, Your ec's dont seem to have too much leadership, volunteer work helps alot, did you do any? I think you have a solid chance, but its reachish

I did volunteer at a program for poor children at my school, a summer enrichment program where I was a teacher assistant. I also helped run a wrestling clinic.

If you emphasized this volunteer work in your app its a pretty big plus.

I did, it was my personal statement on the common app.
