I am not currently taking English at my high school, but I am taking an English class at my local community college. I am taking English 101, and I am in my junior year. It is the equivalent of an AP English Language class if you pass the AP Exam. I plan to do the same for English 102. Because it is a community college class, it is only 1 semester long. I'm afraid that this will prevent me from completing the requirement for taking 4 full years of English because I have 2 full years and then will have 2 separate semesters. If it does not, is there anything I can do to make it up?

Our HS transfers 5 units of cc classes as 10 units of HS classes. So one semester of cc= to full year of HS.

For the b (English) requirement, a 3 semester unit or 4 quarter unit college course can be used in place of a year high school course.
