I'm applying Early Action to Depaul University for the class of 2014.

I had a pretty bad junior year, my GPA is about a 2.85-2.90. Didnt do well on the SAT's, about 1400 overall. Second time I did even worse. But that doesnt matter. I wont send those scores in.

On the ACT I got a 21, but a 9 on the writing part and my major is Communications/Journalism.

Got great EC's.
*Sports editor of HS paper
* Sports Writer for two local papers
*Did community service
*Member of 3 other clubs.
*Doing indoor track this winter
*I have 3 reccomendation letters and that doesnt include my guidence counciler.
*I've had 3 jobs over my time in High School.

So what would you say? I'd say despite the poor SAT score and GPA's I have good EC's and a good chance. Even the GPA isnt so bad. Plus I have a learning disability so its kind of justified even tho I am smart.

This is my dream school. My personal statement pointed out that even though I live right outside New York I need to go to college in a big sports city because I want to be a sports writer and I think DePaul is the perfect fit for me.
