Do I have a chance at prestigious schools like Northwestern,WASHU, or Vanderbilt?

Junior
ACT: 34 SAT:1530
GPA: 3.9/4
Weighted: I don’t know, our school’s weighted grade is weird but I took mostly ap/honor classes

By the end of junior year, I’d have taken 6 AP tests, hopefully I’ll have a four average but I think the ones I’m taking are really hard. (Physics 1/2 Lang APUSH)
Senior AP tests are (gov, econ, psych, calc BC, chem, lit)

I don’t have too many ECs or awards: a lot of basic volunteer community work@hospital, 2 varsity sports but no special honor, not really any awards besides ones I may get from academics. I might search for something interesting to do in the summer but I don’t know.

You need ECs. If you don’t stick out from the rest of the applicants, it’ll be hard for these competitive schools to justify picking you over someone who has a hook or who is a bit quirkier

Stats look great! But YOU NEED to be a competitive applicant ec wise join as many clubs as you can that center around your major! and get leadership positions. you can even make your own club

Chance me back?

I disagree in terms of joining as many clubs as you can surrounding your major. You are right on track. Do something interesting. Do something you enjoy that’s interesting, and you’ll stand out.
