<p>Puh-leeze. Let's stop making personality generalizations right now. There is no natonal culture in india so you can't characterize...India was only made a country 50 years ago. The modal personality for a Nayar in the south is waay different than that of a Punjabi in the north.</p>
<p>Yea, totally concur. But think about what the American perception is? One comment I can make about the chinese is that they are hard working and they are smart. But it's not true for all. Probably more true for american chinese because 1) the first wave was the hardworking 2) later only the "intellectuals" were given scholarship to come. Most of their kids grow up that way. </p>
<p>But don't get me wrong. I love everybody!</p>
<p>DOn't forget that China was (is) communist as well so only the most qualified can leave to study in another country.</p>
