Do I have a chance at SUNY Binghamton or SUNY Geneseo?

<p>With an 89 gpa weighted (87.4 unweighted) and a 1390 on my SATS, do you think I have a shot? For Bing, I would be applying to Harpur college, not the business school. I also took the SAT2s for math 2, physics, and U.S. History and received a 690, 720, and 710. I've taken 4 APs so far:
U.S. History: 3
World History: 4
Stats: 4
Psych:5
and I'm currently taking AP Calc AB, AP Phsyics B, and AP U.S. Politics and Government. So do you think I have a chance? These two schools are my big reaches, and I've been spending way too much time trying to figure out if I'll get in. Could anyone help me out?</p>

<p>**** dude 1390 just math/reading or all 3. If its all three, then its going to be REALLY hard to get in places.</p>

<p>If its the former, then yea, you’ll get in both no doubt; you’re gpas decent and so is your sat.</p>

<p>If you have some solid ECs and mediocre essays, you’ll be in good shape</p>

<p>haha its a 1390 for just math and critical reading. if youre curious i scored a 740 on writing so when you combine all 3 I have a 2130</p>

<p>I’m not very familiar with the SUNY schools, but I did do a little research on the web about them. They are semi-competitive schools with acceptance percentages ranging from 25%-64%. Simply based off of your test scores and grades, I will classify you as competitive in these schools, and would likely and truthfully say that you deserve admission.</p>

<p>However, do you think you can create a more comprehensive thread with your EC’s, essay topics, and awards? That would help immensely in future chances and truly help us get a complete picture of you as a person.</p>

<p>Yea, your gpa is a little low for Bing, but I believe your SAT’s definitely compensate for that. So I believe they are both matches for you. GL in your admissions!</p>

<p>I’m pretty confident you can get into both of those schools. It’s not like you’re applying to Columbia and you have a good SAT for a state school!</p>
