Do I have a chance at U of Mich - Ann Arbor...?

TOEFL: 92</p>

<p>GPA is my major weakness...I had a personality problem so I took a psychiatric treatment. I overcame when Junior year was over, but it still hurts my app a lot.</p>

<p>ECS: President of School's Advertising Team - 12th (Posted a full-page print ad and article on a city magazine and its website. It was the first opportunity for students to advertise the school).

<p>I will be explaining why my GPA is so bad because of the personality problems I had in my essay. Pretending that my essays will be splendid, do I have a chance? I'm applying for Undecided or Marketing as an international applicant.</p>

<p>No one will say you dont have a chance, but it’s going to be very low. You probably have a better shot at the top private schools (still going to be a long shot), since public schools value grades and scores a little more.</p>

<p>Some definitely great extracurricular activities though.

<p>Honestly, not really. I disagree with bubbles, on the top private comment too. I don’t see a 1900SAT/3.2ish GPA getting you into the top privates or top publics. There’s always hope, but I would be prepared to settle a little lower.</p>
