Hey guys
I'm currently a sophomore, and this semester has been really tough on me. My overall GPA for this semester will be around "horrible" and "holy crap". I plan on hiring a tutor and getting all A's next semester, because I really don't think I'll be able to do well without one.

Some background info:
8th grade:
Algebra 1: (92)
Physical Science: (95)

Last year (9th grade, both semesters) my classes are grades were:
AP Bio (87, 92) AP Score: 3
AP Human Geography (88, 101) AP score: 3
Accel.Geometry (85, 92)
Freshman Honors LA (92, 92)
PE (90)
Health (92)
Orchestra (97)
Robotics (87)
Final GPA: 3.74

This semester (10th grade, first semester)
Astronomy (80)
Precalc (44) this class is the sole reason I did so bad this semester, the teacher was horrendous and I just could not learn a thing. It just stressed me out to the max. more than AP bio ever did *I'm going to take AP Calc BC next year, I'll try and do very well on it so my (one and ONLY) F in math doesn't look bad
Hon.Chem (80)
Latin 1 (77)
Hon.Sophomore LA (80)
AP World (84)

Can I still get into GA Tech/UGA if I do very well for the rest of my highschool career? I'll most definitely apply EA to Ga Tech
I really want to go to GA Tech, It is my dream school, I live in-state and I've gone there so many times for programs that they initiated. I love engineering and robotics.
I think I'll do very good on the SAT's and ACTs, I'm going to start taking classes for it this summer, and I'm really going to settle down and getting all A's next semester, and throughout junior/senior year. My parents will force me to get a tutor if I ever go below an 85 again.
(P.S, can you guys give me tips or any advice as to how to make my application look better? i.e what classes to take, clubs, activities, etc. I really, really want to get into GaTech.)
